For me it's a choice between the Oval in Barbados and Lords but I'd have to say Lords because we had such a great day there on your seventh birthday. (Despite the horible weather!) One day I'd love to go to the Sydney Cricket Ground. Maybe I can watch you play test cricket there one day?

Wow! How cool! Pop Quiz Winner! Thanks!

My favourite oval would have to be the Adelaide Oval because it was big enough for a great atmosphere and yet not too huge so it felt like you were right there close to the pitch. I watched many great games there each Australia Day (January 26th).

Hi Sean... I just stumbled across your blog, via your father's blog.

My favorite cricket ground would be the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. It's the largest cricket ground in the West Indies, and is generally thought to be the most picturesque of the old grounds, with spectacular back-drops of the northern hills.

The fans are among the most excitable in the Caribbean, and ensure that the atmosphere is always lively.

Nicole is right about the adelaide oval, gorgeous. Also S.C.G is awesome. My favourite ground however is a small first class ground in NZ called Pukekura Park, absolutely beautiful.

Adelaide is one of the nicest venues, pity about the city. I think newlands in cape town is fantastic ground as is Eden Gardens in Calcutta for the pure cricketing excitement. 100 000 people cheering for Sachin is magic. oh, and the VRA ABN third ground is awesome, as well as Ajax in Leiden...
